The alternate Batman and Superman realities are being controlled by Autuer.io - the Director of the Archive of Worlds. The World of Tomorrow is a world with Superman, but where Bruce Wayne never became Batman - though the world without Batman has not been explored in great detail just yet. The World of the Knight is a world in which Superman didn't make it to Earth alive and only Batman and Robin exist as the main heroes. The Archive of Worlds exists in the DC reality that fans are most familiar with, where Batman and Superman's origins are standard and the two work together. The first two issues of this new arc for Batman/Superman have introduced the Archive of Worlds, the World of the Knight, and the World of Tomorrow. In this series, stories and ways of telling them are being experimented with. With the amount of control he has over the story being told, DC's villainous director may cause irreparable damage.
