Basic, moderate, advanced, tutorial on economics HAS ONE OR TWO PAGES OF TEXT and thats it.Īnd I clicked quit. So the person I didnt know I was at war with is beseiging my province now and a little green meter is showing. Ive got the screen at the highest resolution and still the icon and text are impossible to read, do I really have to stare a foot away from my screen just to read the badly designed text? Or do I really need a mega jumbo monitor for a low graphics game like this? Im was at war with someone else already and the game didnt bother to tell me except for a tiny icon at the bottom of the screen. One wants me to go to war or I lose 25 prestige, so I say yes, but because of terrible interface I have to spend 3 minutes finding who Im at war with and who I am fighting beside.īut WAIT. Then I unpause the game and have a couple pop ups.
MOUNT AND BLADE VIKING CONQUEST TROLL BRIDGE HOW TO
I have no idea how to improve disloyal vassals. I have NO idea what the amounts of different religions are in my provinces. I go through the crazy disorganized menus, the 10 different map tabs, I dont even bother going to my provinces because I cant build anything, I can raise levies.but what do those levies/ships cost me in upkeep income? WHO KNOWS I cant find out. Ironically nothing I click in the technology tab does ANYTHING. Since I have no money, My ambition is to acquire money LOL. I go through the menus, I have like 130 gold so I cant buy any buildings, I move my counsilers around, getting rid of a disloyal one, and send them on missions, mostly to acquire technology. Ok so I start off playing as the Byzantines, so I know what questions to look for in the tutorial later (I know learning a recent Paradox game is gonna to be annoying so Im going at this logically)

Looks fun, Im all for complicated and in depth, but not disorganized grand strategy. My friend just gave me a gift of crusader kings 2. Honestly why stay in business when you make a fun game and then spend what? a day? on the tutorial that shows you nothing, explains nothing, and is all text and no video directions. Combined with a TERRIBLE tutorial- the main stay of any Paradox game. All my commanders, spread out across a billion provinces with seeming random specializations, add commanders and sub commanders here and there, and menu after badly designed/organized menu so I could barely tolerate actually getting to the war part. I loved the first two hearts of iron like crazy, which is the only way I know about Paradox at all.įor the life of me I could not get past the disorganization of hearts of iron 3. Im all for making games harder and more in depth and if you make a fun game like that, my money is yours.
