ELEPHANT BOOKENDS UPDATE

I always update the listing with a shipping tracking number, so you know it has been dispatched. I aim to get parcels on their way to you the day (or at the latest the next day) payment has been received. I also take a great pride in making sure that your item is VERY well packaged and arrives with you in great shape. To keep my costs down, and help the environment, I use recycled boxes and packaging where at all possible. These are not part of the auction! Postage And Packaging I try to charge the exact cost of postage (or close to it).

ELEPHANT BOOKENDS SERIES

A bit of light sandpapering would easily fix that. There is a chip of a top corner which i not really noticeable and again I have shown in the photographs. On one elephant, the secret compartment is rather stiff to open.

This is easy to know as the name and country map are inlaid on them using bovine bone. These look cool BUT even better they have a secret! Each one has a hidden compartment, ideal for stashing small treasures! I won't say any more, but please check the photographs.A VERY reluctant saleHappy bidding! Condition One elephant is missing a tusk. They are ALL cool! Here we have a great pair of bookends, which were made in Sri Lanka (or Ceylon as it was called at the time). I am currently running 4 auctions featuring vintage / antique carved ebony (mainly elephants) figures and book ends.
